台灣車載資通訊產業協會(Taiwan Telematics Industry Association, 簡稱TTIA)與經濟部車載資通訊產業推動辦公室(Telematics Promotion Office , MOEA,簡稱TPO)已經建立全球第1套的「營業大客車車載機產業標準」，並以研華TREK-550作為主要車載機系統模組的參考，台灣政府也希望把這套產業標準在大陸市場推動。這套標準可提升行車安全、周遭景點娛樂資訊等。經濟部(MOEA)已經勾勒出未來交通、智慧巴士的願景，研華將與更多業者一同投入市場與產品研發；並展現台灣在智慧巴士產業中的領導地位。
